Itinerary of a one day chimpanzee trekking excursion
Day’s highlights: Chimpanzee feeding, and viewing, behind scenes of Uganda Wildlife Education center.
Have breakfast at your hotel very early in the morning and shortly after, your guide will be waiting for you at the reception for set off. Depart to Lake Victoria along the Entebbe Express Highway, depending on your pick up point. Get ready for briefing and registration, then transfer to Ngamba island using a speed boat (45 minutes cruise). Arrive the Island information center for a comprehensive information about the rescued and orphaned Chimpanzee on the Island. Enjoy an up-close viewing of the Chimpanzee, morning feeding and if possible, engage in the feeding. Have lunch, after transfer in a speed boat from the Island where your picked up by our staff and drives you to Entebbe Zoo.
Have lunch and immediately after, explore the zoo’s richness with stunning views to a variety of both flora and fauna species coupled with behind scenes as the major activity, providing a cool conducive eco-environment with our guide offering you with detailed information about the species. Return to the hotel in the evening.
