Explore the Semuliki National Park located in Bundibugyo district, it boasts the male and female hot springs. Marvel at the breathtaking Nyakasura waterfalls and the enchanting Amabeere ga Nyinamwiru (the breasts of Nyinamwiru). The Tooro Palace offers a glimpse into the kingdom’s rich history and heritage, showcasing the proud traditions of the Batooro people.
The Kazinga channel in Queen Elizabeth connects Lake George and Edward. A boat ride here is inevitable. It presents aquatic life like hippos, nile crocodiles, birds like African spoonbill, Grey crowned crane and other animals that come to take water. Itinerary

Day 1: Start our 6 days Queen Elizabeth Adventure
Pick up from the hotel very early in the morning. Leave for Fort Portal at 8am heading towards the West along Mityana road. Have a stop over at the scenic Mwenge Tea Estate in Kyenjojo for a short briefing and photographic session at the tea plantations. After, have lunch on arrival in Fort Portal city and then head to the newly renovated Tooro palace. Listen to the interesting culture and history of the Batooro and very many stories about the Bunyoro Kitara empire.
Day 2: Semuliki hot springs and Amabere ga Nyinamwiru.
After the delicious breakfast, we move to Semuliki National Park in Bundibugyo district, a short journey blessed by the Mt. Rwenzori ranges and Albertine rift Valley (Western arm). The roads meandering to adjust to the escarpment is fascinating.The lively baboons welcome us to Semuliki National Park. A short walk through the woods presents the male and female hot springs. Listen to their geography and history. Traditional beliefs of the native tribes of the Batwa, Bwamba farmers and Bakonjo are sure to feed your curiosity.
Go back to Fort Portal town for a delicious lunch and continue our day with a visit at Nyakasura waterfalls which is home for Amabeere ga Nyinamwiru, see and touch the stalactites and
stalagmites while listening to the geographical and historical beliefs of their formation.
Day 3: Transfer Queen Elizabeth National Park, chimp and lion tracking.
After breakfast, checkout and move to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Take part in Chimpanzee tracking in Kyambura gorge. Get to interact with these fascinating creatures, they have 92% of human DNA. Walk through the woods and shrubs, on spotting the chimps, spend atleast an hour watching how they feed and live among
themselves.
Go to our hotel, check in and have lunch. Relax then go for lion tracking in the Ishasha sector. Watch the king of the jungle from upclose. Take your time with photography and learning about them and later on, an evening game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Retire at our hotel for overnight.
Day 4: Game drive and boat ride
After breakfast, go for an early morning game drive to see various wild animals like lions, baboons, elephants in their cozy haven. On our way back to the hotel for lunch, visit the newly renovated equator monument at Kikorongo, for a photographic session and short briefing on how the equator divides the world into two.
Then go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel which offer a vast view of the park as you sail. Watch the aquatic animals like hippos and crocodiles in the waters. And more animals that come to quench the hot afternoon thirst.
Day 5: Crater lakes
After breakfast, go and visit the Banyaruguru crater lakes located South of Lake George like Lake Nkugute among others. Extremely beautiful views are witnessed here. Then visit Lake Katwe, the only salt mining lake in Uganda. Learn how salt is formed, extracted, prepared for manufacturing and how locals minimise the effect of the strong sodium chloride. Have lunch at the hotel and go for an evening gamedrive to exhaust the various wildlife species on ground and to wind up our trip.
Day 6: End of our 6 days Queen Elizabeth Adventure.
Check out of the hotel and hop onto our journey back to Kampala with a stop for lunch at the Equator located at Kayabwe. Continue the journey to Kampala, arriving in the evening with stories to tell.
